Clinic Statement regarding COVID-19-Updated: 10/12/21
Dear Patients,
We wish to talk to you about the changes we need to implement while we adapt to the changing COVID-19 pandemic.
Our priority is the health and wellbeing of our patients, staff and support persons.
From Wednesday 24th November, we will not be able to provide consultations in the rooms, or treatment, if you are unwell or have any symptoms of COVID-19. We will ask you to leave the rooms if you become unwell while travelling to us so, please call us if you have concerns prior to arrival. You will be able to resume your care following a negative COVID-19 PCR test and once you are feeling well.
Consultations are able to be conducted via phone or Skype if preferred or necessary.
We will be limiting the number of people within the clinic and ask that patients only bring one support person to appointments. Children under 12 are no longer able to enter the clinic. To protect both them, our staff and other patients, we ask that you make alternative childcare arrangements. If you have extenuating circumstances and cannot find alternative arrangements, please contact our staff prior to attending your appointment.
If you experience any symptoms of COVID-19 while undergoing your treatment cycle, please have a PCR COVID-19 test and self isolate until you receive your results. If negative, you will be able to continue with treatment. If your treatment needs to be cancelled or postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test, you will not be financially disadvantaged when you resume your treatment cycle.
Admission to Ashford Private Hospital from Monday 6th December 2021: ALL patients regardless of vaccination status will be required to provide evidence of a negative PCR test undertaken within 72 hours prior to admission. FFC can provide you with request form to Clinpath for this test.
The nurses at FFC are able to answer any questions you may have.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration during this time of change and challenge for us all.
