How referral works
Complete the referral
Use the FFC referral form or your own referral letter.
We contact your patient
Within 72 hours of receiving the referral.
Specialist consultation
Your patient sees Dr Marcin Stankiewicz for assessment and a personalised plan.
We keep you informed
Dr Stankiewicz sends you a letter after your patient’s appointment.
When to refer
Consider referral for:
- Patients who have been trying to conceive for several months and would like to understand their options
- Age-related fertility concerns
- Irregular or absent ovulation, or endometriosis
- Known or suspected male-factor infertility
- Recurrent pregnancy loss
- Medical or reproductive history affecting fertility
- Single people and same-sex couples planning treatment
Urgent fertility preservation
Patients facing cancer treatment or other therapy that may affect fertility may need to be seen quickly.
Call the clinic on (08) 8490 3980 and let us know it’s urgent.
Before you refer
You’re welcome to refer at any stage where specialist advice would help.
Helpful tests before referral:
- AMH blood test
- Semen analysis, where relevant

- Patient and partner details, where relevant
- Reason for referral and relevant history

More than 20 years’ experience in fertility and gynaecology. Referred patients see Dr Stankiewicz at the Ashford Specialist Centre, and he keeps you informed throughout your patient’s journey.
Supporting your patient
Help with the SA fertility rebate
Your patient may be eligible for the SA Government fertility treatment rebate, including support for pre-treatment testing. Our team helps them check eligibility and guides them through the process.
The same doctor from start to finish
The specialist your patient sees at their first consultation stays with them through treatment.
Care for every family
We see single people, same-sex couples and heterosexual couples, with donor programs and donor-conception counselling.
